Sources said that during Dr. Hussain’s interactions with district presidents, block presidents, and other senior leaders at the Guest House in Jammu, some Congress leaders who had been waiting were not given an audience. “Instead of engaging with workers who have maintained discipline within the party, preference was given to certain dissidents who have already raised a banner of revolt against J&K Congress chief Tariq Hamid Karra and AICC General Secretary Ghulam Ahmed Mir,” sources revealed. They further claimed that as soon as the dissidents entered Dr. Hussain’s room, a senior Congress leader locked the door from inside, allowing the dissidents to freely express their views. “The door r Infighting within the J&K Congress came to the fore when some workers raised an uproar over the undue importance given to certain dissidents.
