Early Times Report RAMBAN, Apr 18: A one-day training programme for YUVA DOOTS under Mission YUVA was organized today at the District Administrative Complex, Ramban, by the District Administration under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary. The session was held under the leadership of Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ramban, Roshan Lal, who also serves as the District Nodal Officer for Mission YUVA. The programme commenced with a welcome address by Assistant Director Employment, Ramban, Amit Kumar. The training featured insightful presentations and guidance from key speakers, including District Development Manager, NABARD, Arshi Sharma, Career Counseling Officer, Ramban, Amir Hassan; and District Nodal Officer, JKEDI, Tashneef Parray. A total of 62 YUVA DOOTS, appointed by the District Administration for grassroots engagement, participated in the training along with officials from the District Employment and Counselling Centre (DECC), Ramban. The training aimed to sensitize the YUVA DOOTS about their roles and responsibilities under Mission YUVA, ensuring effective implementation at the Panchayat level. The focus areas included youth engagement, career counseling, entrepreneurship development, and livelihood generation initiatives to empower rural youth in District Ramban.
