Jammu, May 16: Western Command Army Commander Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar on Friday lauded the valour and high spirit of troops during his visit to Jammu and Samba locations. “Lt Gen Manoj Kumar Katiyar, Army Commander Western Command, accompanied by GOC Rising Star Corps, visited forward locations in Jammu and Samba, interacted with troops, including personnel from BSF,” the Rising Star Corps posted on X.
It further posted, “He commended their valour, high josh, and vigilant actions during #OperationSindoor and lauded the precise and punitive response given.”
“Army Commander exhorted all ranks to stay vigilant & mission-ready,” it further said.
Meanwhile, White Knight Corps in a post on X said, “#GOC and all ranks of #WhiteKnightCorps salute the unwavering courage of #Braveheart Subedar Major Pawan Kumar, who made the supreme sacrifice during #OpSindoor.”
“His valour and dedication to duty will always be remembered. We continue to stand with the bereaved family in their hour of grief,” it wrote. |
