Early Times Report
LUCKNOW, July 23: In the spiritually significant month of Sawan, dedicated to Lord Shiva, the Yogi government is going beyond traditional arrangements at Shiva temples to honour devotees in a special way. On the directives of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a grand flower shower was carried out on Sawan Shivratri (Wednesday), with helicopters dropping petals over major Shiva temples in Gorakhpur and Sant Kabir Nagar-offering a heartfelt tribute to the unwavering faith of thousands of worshippers. Following the Chief Minister's directive, similar aerial flower showers are being carried out across various locations in Uttar Pradesh during the Sawan month to honor Kanwariyas and Shiv devotees. In Gorakhpur, the flower shower from helicopters was conducted over prominent temples, including the Gorakhnath Temple, the ancient Mansarovar Temple, Mukteshwar Nath Temple, Jharkhandi Mahadev Temple, Munjeshwar Nath Temple in Bhauwapar, Moteshwar Shiva Temple in Pipraich, and the Tameshwar Nath Temple in Sant Kabir Nagar, creating a deeply spiritual and memorable experience for the worshippers.
