JAMMU, Aug 8: Lieutenant General P K Mishra, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, visited the forward areas of Sunderbani sector on Wednesday to assess the current security situation and review the operational preparedness along the Line of Control.
Lieutenant General Mishra was briefed by local commanders on ground deployments, terrain challenges, and readiness of frontline troops. He expressed satisfaction over the high level of alertness being maintained in the sensitive region.
During the visit, the GOC emphasized on maintaining robust defensive and surveillance measures along the Line of Control (LoC) to ensure mission effectiveness in safeguarding territorial integrity. |
