Jammu, Aug 30: Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat on Saturday stressed on importance of maintaining strict vigil in border areas and reiterated that J&K police stands firmly with all sister agencies to strengthen border security.
In a statement a Police spokesman said the DGP, accompanied by DIG JSK Shiv Kumar Sharma and SSP Kathua Shobhit Saxena, visited border district Kathua to review the security scenario in the wake of the damage caused by incessant flooding. Senior officers of BSF, CRPF, and J&K Police also joined the review.
