CB books directors of pvt company, scammers, Govt employee among 8 for big frauds

Jammu, Sept 14: The Crime Branch has booked directors of a private company, proprietor of another company, notorious scammers, a Govt employee among eight for big frauds involving Rs 3.11 crore and securing job on fake qualification certificate.
In pursuance of court directions, an FIR has been registered on the complaint of Guninder Jeet Singh Wazir of Trikuta Nagar Jammu against Promotor Directors of Shreekatyani Metal Pvt.Ltd namely Nitin Gupta & Nidhi Gupta of Yojna Vihar Delhi and Nitin Maheshwari of Suryanagar Gaziabad (U.P).for fraudulently & dishonestly causing wrongful loss of Rs 2.64 crore to the complainant and wrongful gain to themselves.
Another FIR has been registered on the complaint of Sanjeev Mahajan of Jammu against Proprietor of Sanbun Investments, Nishaan Singh S/O Arvind Singh R/O Rajdoot Marg Chankyapuri South West Delhi for criminal breach of trust and misappropriation of Rs 35 Lakh .
A fresh FIR has been registered against notorious scammers Saroop Lal S/O Manga Ram R/O Bari Brahmana and Ashish Bhandari S/O Late Satish Bhandari R/O Subhash Nagar Jammu for duping Jawahar Lal and Bibi Ram ,both R/O Akhnoor, of Rs 12.30 Lakh on the pretext of providing Govt jobs as Forest Guards to their relatives. Accused also provided fake appointment orders. Several FIRs stand already registered against Saroop Lal and Ashish Bhandari for frauds.
Moreover, an FIR has been registered on communication from CID Hqrs J&K against Sohan Lal R/O Arnia Jammu for securing job in J&K Health Department as Dental Technician on fake matriculation certificate which was allegedly arranged for him by Swarn Singh S/O Chuni Lal of Treva ,who too has been named as accused in the FIR.
Senior Superintendent of Police Crime Jammu, Benam Tosh confirmed that four cases FIR numbers 55/2025 , 56/2025 , 57/2025 , 58/2025 have been registered at Police Station Crime Branch EOW Jammu after conducting preliminary enquiries and in-depth investigations are underway.
