Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 20: With the Red Fort blast case now officially handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for a detailed and comprehensive probe, the agency on Thursday took custody of the terror doctors earlier arrested by the Jammu and Kashmir Police in connection with the busting of the “White Coat” terror module. The NIA has stepped up its efforts to dismantle the entire network behind the November 10 explosion.
In a statement, the agency said it had arrested four more prime accused in the Red Fort blast, taking the total number of arrests to six. The four accused were taken into NIA custody in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, following production orders issued by the District Sessions Judge, Patiala House Court.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Dr. Muzammil Shakeel Ganai of Pulwama (J&K), Dr. Adeel Ahmed Rather of Anantnag (J&K), Dr. Shaheen Saeed of Lucknow (U.P), and Mufti Irfan Ahmad Wagay of Shopian (J&K). According to NIA findings, all four played significant roles in the terror attack that claimed several innocent lives and left many injured. The four had previously been arrested by the J&K Police.
Earlier, the NIA had also arrested two other accused — Amir Rashid Ali, in whose name the car used in the blast was registered, and Jasir Bilal Wani alias Danish, who allegedly provided technical assistance to the terrorist involved in the attack. Their interrogation is underway as part of the NIA’s ongoing efforts to uncover the full terror conspiracy registered under case RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI.
The anti-terror agency, entrusted with the investigation by the Union Home Ministry shortly after the blast, is coordinating closely with various state police forces to identify, track down, and apprehend all members of the terrorist module responsible for the carnage, the statement added.
