‘Atamnirbhar’ J&K
11/20/2025 10:05:45 PM
While addressing a gathering at Purmandal, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, highlighted the sacrifices of the security forces, J&K Police personnel, farmers, youth and women. He reminded the people that foundation of an “Atamnirbhar and adhunik” Jammu and Kashmir has been built on their sacrifices.
It’s the duty of every citizen to safeguard the sacrifices rendered by the fallen heroes. Everyone has to take a pledge to keep Jammu and Kashmir moving. During the past five to six years J&K has witnessed tremendous progress and it has been moving ahead at a rapid pace.
Efforts put in by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to place J&K on the path of peace and development are known to all. Despite facing challenges, the administration has worked tirelessly to ensure sustained progress. Today, the entire country recognizes J&K’s strength, and it’s amply clear that the Union Territory is all set to play a significant role in building a Viksit Bharat. This acknowledgment is not symbolic; it reflects a genuine shift in how J&K is contributing to national growth, be it through infrastructural expansion, cultural resurgence, or economic diversification. Just a few years ago, no one had even thought that J&K would witness such a massive progress as everything looked stagnant and stuck. Focused governance, improved security, public participation, and a vision for inclusive growth have ushered in a new era. Under PM Modi’s leadership and the guidance of the Union Home Minister Amit Shah, J&K has been scaling new heights. During the past four to five years numerous ancient religious and historical sites have been reconstructed. Nearly 62 such important sites have been restored. Restoring and reviving rich spiritual heritage, and spiritual tourism in J&K has remained the government’s prime objective. This not only preserves the region’s identity but also boosts spiritual tourism—a key pillar of J&K’s socio-economic revival. Reviving these heritage assets reflects the government’s resolve to reconnect the people with their roots while opening new avenues for employment and cultural pride.
Bharat has always treated everyone equally. The world acknowledges India’s unity in diversity and recognizes its growing global stature. As of date India stands tall globally. Its decisions are respected and acknowledged. The strong leadership has made a huge difference. J&K’s transformation from a terror hit region to a favourite tourist destination has proven beyond doubt that PM Modi’s strong political will has played a pivotal role in changing the destiny of the people.
