Multi-Departmental Outreach camp held at Aspirational Block Mankote

Poonch, Dec 27: On the directions of the District Development Commissioner, Poonch, Sh. Ashok Kumar Sharma (JKAS), a Multi-Departmental Outreach Camp was organized today at Middle School Balahar Sagra in Aspirational Block Mankote.
The camp saw active participation from the Health, Nutrition (ICDS), Agriculture, and NRLM departments, reflecting strong inter-departmental convergence to strengthen grassroots service delivery. Along with health and nutrition services, organic inputs were distributed among farmers to promote sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural practices.
Aspirational Block Programme Fellow Ajaz Ahmed was present during the camp and played an active facilitative role in coordination and field-level monitoring, contributing to the smooth execution of the outreach initiative.
The camp was supported by a dedicated team comprising Dr. Sajid Mujtaba, Dr. Rabnawaz Khan, Dr. Rajeev Sharma, Fareed Ahmed (Pharmacist, NTPHC Dabraj), Imtiaz Ahmed (Pharmacist, AAM Chhajla), Mohd Yaseen (HE, Mankote), Mohd Janghir (LA, Mankote), Ishtiaq Ahmed (MTS, SC Nar Mankote), Shazia Malik (FMPHW, SC Sagra), Mohd Bashir (MTS), Mohd Shakoor (NTEP), Vinod Kumar (NTEP), and Sudhir (AEO, Agriculture Department).
The Nutrition component was strengthened by ICDS Supervisors Ms. Nahima Kouser, Ms. Safia Bibi, and Ms. Naseem Begum. The camp witnessed encouraging community participation and reaffirmed the district administration’s commitment to integrated, inclusive, and people-centric development in the Aspirational Block.
