Samba, Dec 27: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized five vehicles including three dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Samba and Ramgarh which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO Police Station Samba, Incharge PP Supwal of PS Samba and Incharge BPP Dug of PS Ramgarh while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized three dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK21G-0372, JK02BB-7986, JK21J-7881 and two tractor trolleys bearing registration Nos. JK21K-8138 & JK02W-0486 which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The above-mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
