JKTF convenes extraordinary meeting at Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu

JAMMU, Jan 8: An extraordinary meeting of the Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) was held today at Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu, under the leadership of its Chairman, Mohd Shafi Rather, and under the patronage of chief patron Ganesh Khajuria. The meeting witnessed active participation of JKTF leadership from across the Union Territory.
The primary agenda of the meeting was to hold a threadbare discussion on the pressing issues being faced by the teaching fraternity across Jammu & Kashmir and to deliberate upon effective strategies for further strengthening the Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum as a united and disciplined organization.
All the participating leaders, in one voice, appreciated the collective efforts of the entire JKTF leadership, particularly Chairman Mohd Shafi Rather and chief patron Ganesh Khajuria, for their consistent and dedicated efforts towards the resolution of various issues confronting the teaching fraternity. The speakers strongly emphasized the need for unity, coordination, and collective responsibility among all cadres of the organization.
The leadership expressed serious concern and anguish over the delaying tactics adopted by the authorities in resolving the long-pending genuine issues of teachers. Addressing the gathering, chief patron Ganesh Khajuria lauded the tireless efforts of all cadres working relentlessly for the welfare of the teaching fraternity and the organization. He stressed the importance of fostering a strong and cemented bond between the leadership of Jammu and Kashmir divisions to further strengthen JKTF.
Chairman Mohd Shafi Rather, while addressing the meeting, urged all cadres to remain prepared to face every challenge concerning the teaching fraternity across the Union Territory. He appreciated the proactive role of the Jammu-based leadership working under the guidance of chief patron Ganesh Khajuria. Expressing deep concern over the unnecessary delay in addressing legitimate demands of teachers, he appealed to all educators to remain united, committed to their professional duties, and dedicated towards the responsibilities of JKTF.
He reaffirmed that the leadership of both Jammu and Kashmir divisions is fully committed to going to any extent for the welfare of the teaching fraternity as well as the student community. He further stated that both divisions are working in absolute coordination and discipline, and expressed hope that this unity and cooperation would continue, thereby strengthening the organization at every level.
