Junior wing of May Fair International School celebrates annual day

JAMMU, Jan 8: May Fair International School, Chinore, Jammu celebrated its Junior Wing Annual Fuction with great zeal and splendour at Abhinav Theatre, Canal Road, under the inspiring theme " Ek Rishta - Bond of Love".
The celebration reflected 45 years of dedicated growth of May Fair Schools in education, culture, and overall student development.
The event was graced by Sham Lal Sharma, MLA, Jammu North as the chief guest while Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Raina (JKAS) Joint Director(HQ), Information, J&K & Gurdev Kumar (JKAS) Joint Director School Education, Jammu were the Guests of Honor.
More than 200 students participated in a series of cultural presentations, showcasing their talent, discipline, and creativity through performances based on compassion, patriotism, mindfulness, and the spirit of achieving the impossible.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Abhey Basur Director - May Fair Schools, followed by Welcome Song by Class 1st Boys & Girls to welcome all the Distinguished Guests. A colourful Dance performance by kindergarten students from May Fair Juniors Wing lit up the stage, while performances like Raksha Bandhan - a tribute to Indian Army portrayed strong emotion and stirred national Pride.
School Incharge Dr. Neha Gupta presented the Annual Report, highlighting academic achievements and the school's progress over the past years. Students further enthralled the audience with performances including Value of Sports & Spanish Dance. The programme concluded with a high-spirited Qawali. Anita Basur Honbl'e Secretray - May Fair Schools & Sandeep Sharma Chief Advisor - May Fair Schools remain present as the Management Committee members.
LAKSHYA 2026, 12th Edition of School Magazine was also released by the Distinguished Guests.
A Galaxy of Dignitaries which Included Gambhir Dev Singh Charak - Working President, Dogra Sadar Sabha, Jammu, Munish Gupta - Chief Editor, Early Times, Kuldeep Gupta & Ashwani Pandita, Deputy Secretarys, JKBOSE, Harvinder Kour - ZEPO, Youth Services & Sports, Nishant Gupta SHO, Nowabad, Ram Murty Sharma President AIPA, Jammu. A special prize distribution ceremony was held to honour meritorious and outstanding students in Academics with Board Toppers & Class Toppers with awards presented by the Chief Guest & Guests of Honour. Students with 100% Attendance & Sports Achievers were honored by the Special Guests.
In his address, chief guest Sham Lal Sharma praised the school for its commitment to holistic education and applauded the students for their stellar performances.
