People's Hut Foundation hosts Multi-Speciality Medical Camp in Jammu; over 238 resident benefit

JAMMU, Jan 10: Continuing its mission to bridge the gap in healthcare accessibility, the People's Hut Foundation successfully organized a comprehensive Free Multi-Speciality Medical Camp at the Shiv Temple, Toph Sherkhania Government Quarters. The initiative, held under the foundation's flagship "Mobile Health Clinic Program," provided critical diagnostic services and consultations to 238 patients from Toph Sherkhania and surrounding areas.
The camp was officially inaugurated by Sh. M. K. Yogi, Senior Leader of the Apni Party, alongside Mr. Muktesh Yogi, an eminent social worker who also managed and supported the event's coordination. While inaugurating the camp, Sh. M. K. Yogi lauded the People's Hut Foundation for its consistent humanitarian efforts. "We all have a role to play in contributing back to society," he stated. "We should come forward and support such vital causes that bring healthcare directly to the doorsteps of those in need."
The foundation collaborated with leading healthcare institutions to provide high-quality medical expertise where in Ujala Cygnus JK Medicity Provided a team of specialist doctors, coordinated by Mr. Dinesh Sharma (Sales and Marketing Head), Sharp Sight Eye Hospital Jammu Offered comprehensive ophthalmological screenings, coordinated by Mr. Rahul Kumar.
Patients received free consultations across several disciplines, including General Medicine (Physicians)Orthopaedics, Physiotherapy, Ophthalmology (Eye Care), Diagnostic Services & Free Medicines.
Dr. Rohit Koul, Director and CEO of the People's Hut Foundation, emphasized the long-term vision of the program and added that "The availability of specialist consultations marks a significant step towards improving healthcare access for individuals who often face challenges in reaching quality facilities. We are committed to bringing essential medical services closer to the heart of the community."
