SSP Ramban holds Darbar Cultural Programme, Bada Khana organised at DPL Ramban

RAMBAN, Jan 10: The Senior Superintendent of Police, Ramban, Sh. Arun Gupta-JKPS, today held an extensive Darbar of officers/officials of District Police Ramban at the District Police Lines (DPL) Ramban, aimed at direct interaction with the police personnel and addressing their personal grievances. The Darbar witnessed the participation of a large number of police personnel from all Police Stations, Police Posts, Police Pickets, DPL Ramban (including Guards), Home Guards personnel, DPO Ramban and other units of District Police Ramban. SDRF personnel posted in the district also attended the Darbar.
All Gazetted Officers of District Police Ramban, all SHOs and In-charges of Police Posts, were present during the Darbar. During the interaction, SSP Ramban patiently heard the grievances raised by the personnel and issued on-the-spot directions to the concerned officers for prompt redressal wherever feasible. He assured the that all genuine grievances would be examined sympathetically and resolved in a time-bound manner as per departmental rules and procedures.
While addressing the gathering, SSP Ramban Sh. Arun Gupta-JKPS highlighted the notable achievements of District Police Ramban during the year 2025 and congratulated the officers and officials for their exemplary performance. He particularly appreciated the collective efforts of the force, which resulted in District Police Ramban leading the table in the DKR Range on performance parameters terming it a significant milestone achieved through dedication, discipline and teamwork. The SSP emphasized the need to sustain the same momentum in the year 2026 and encouraged the personnel to continue working with renewed zeal to achieve greater operational and professional targets. He underscored the importance of discipline, professionalism, dedication and teamwork as the cornerstones of effective policing. He advised the personnel to discharge their duties with utmost honesty, integrity and a people-friendly approach, while strictly adhering to the highest standards of conduct. He further stressed the significance of physical fitness, mental well-being and mutual respect among all ranks, stating that these factors are essential for maintaining efficiency, resilience and cohesion within the force, thereby ensuring effective service delivery to the public.
