Mehbooba Mufti visits residence of Khursheed Aalam to offer condolences

SRINAGAR, Jan 10: People's Democratic Party (PDP) President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today visited the residence of the late Qazi Sajad at Peer Bagh, Hyderpora, to offer condolences and express solidarity with the bereaved family. Late Qazi Sajad was the brother-in-law of PDP General Secretary Mohammad Khursheed Aalam. Mehbooba Mufti was accompanied by PDP Women's Wing President Anjum Fazili, party spokesperson Zuhaib Yousuf Mir, senior party leader and former State Secretary Arif Laigroo, former MLA Noor Mohammad Sheikh, District President Women's Wing Budgam Tabassum Khan, Youth General Secretary Shahnawaz Mir, Dr. Ali Mohammad, Abdul Hameed, Mohammad Shafi, Bilal Ahmad, and other party functionaries. During the condolence visit, Mehbooba Mufti prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and extended her heartfelt sympathies to the grieving family. She shared in their sorrow and offered words of comfort, urging the family to remain steadfast and patient during this difficult time. Reaffirming the party's core values of compassion and solidarity, the PDP President assured the family that the party stands firmly with them in their hour of grief and will continue to share their pain and loss. Meanwhile, PDP Vice President Mohammad Sartaj Madni, Chief Spokesperson Dr. Mehboob Beg, former Ministers Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, Naeem Akhter and Abdul Gaffar Sofi, MLA Pulwama Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra, MLA Budgam Aga Muntazir Mehdi, District President Budgam Mohammad Yaseen Bhat, District President Srinagar Women's Wing Sarah Naeem, along with zone presidents, senior party workers and other party leaders, also conveyed their deep condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
