Addressing the gathering, Prof. (Dr.) Romesh Kumar Gupta, Principal of the College, lauded the NCC unit for conceptualising such a meaningful programme. He emphasised that Vande Mataram is not merely a song, but a living expression of India’s cultural heritage, sacrifice, and collective identity. He urged students to internalise the values of unity, discipline, and service to the nation, which the NCC seeks to inculcate. The programme concluded with an interactive discussion, reinforcing national pride and historical awareness among the participants.
