SAMBA, Feb 6: The Education Department of SPPND GDC Samba participated in the live telecast of the 9th Edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha, an interactive programme addressed by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, focusing on examination stress management, student well-being, and holistic development.
The live telecast was attended by students, faculty members, and staff of the Education Department. The programme was also attended by the Principal of SPPND GDC Samba, Dr. Nirlape Kour, whose presence added significance to the occasion. She encouraged students to draw inspiration from the Hon'ble Prime Minister's interaction and adopt a calm, confident, and positive approach towards examinations and life challenges. She emphasized that initiatives like Pariksha Pe Charcha are instrumental in addressing exam-related stress and nurturing students' mental well-being, discipline, and holistic development. She also appreciated the relevance of such platforms in strengthening the bond between education, motivation, and values.
During the interaction, the Hon'ble Prime Minister highlighted the importance of viewing examinations as a learning experience rather than a source of fear. He stressed effective time management, self-belief, emotional balance, and a positive mindset as key elements for academic success.
Prof Seema Sharma ,Head,Department of Education highlighted the importance of such programmes in the present academic environment, while students expressed that the session was highly motivating and helped them gain confidence in handling examination-related stress.
The initiative reflects the commitment of SPPND GDC Samba towards student-centric education and overall personality development. The programme concluded with an interactive discussion among students and teachers on the key takeaways from the address.
