KATHUA, Feb 21: Acting sternly against illegal mining within the district, J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma IPS today seized 03 Tractor alongwith Trolleys indulged in illegal transportation of construction material in the J/D of P/S Billawar. On 21.02.2026 A Police team headed by SHO PS Billawar Insp. Zaheer Mushtaq under the guidance of SDPO Billawar Sh. Neeraj Padyar JKPS during patrolling/checking duty in its jurisdictional area seized 03 Tractor alongwith Trolleys bearing Registration Numbers i.e JK08L-3980, and other bearing Chassis No.s MBNBG55NMR-HM00139 & MBNBU53N-BRHH01690 indulged in illegal transportation of construction material (Sand) without any legal permission. Meanwhile all the three tractor alongwith trolleys indulged in illegal mining were seized & immediately handed over to the officials of the Geological and Mining department Kathua for further legal proceedings. |
