Chinar Primary School Students Bring Joy to Residents at Vridh Ashram Ambphalla

JAMMU, Feb 21: The Home for the Aged & Infirm (Vridh Ashram), Ambphalla, Jammu, was filled with vibrant energy and heartfelt emotions as thirty-three students of the Primary Wing of Chinar Primary School, located within the Sainik School Nagrota campus, visited the Home under the gracious supervision of Mrs. Meena Sharma and other esteemed staff members.
The young students presented a colourful and captivating cultural programme that included lively dance performances, devotional renditions, and melodious songs celebrating cultural and spiritual values. Their innocent enthusiasm and artistic expressions created an atmosphere of warmth and joy, deeply touching the hearts of the residents.
In a beautiful display of intergenerational bonding, the inmates of the Home also actively participated in the programme. Several residents joined the children in dancing and sang religious hymns, transforming the event into a shared celebration of love, respect, and togetherness.
The gathering commenced with a warm welcome address delivered by Shri Sat Pal Sharma, Member, Managing Committee of the Home. Dr. Dinesh Gupta, Secretary of the Home in his address, elaborated on the complete functioning of the institution, highlighting its mission, day-to-day working, and the various facilities and care services being provided to the elderly residents. He also appealed to the teaching fraternity to act as ambassadors of the Home by spreading awareness about its noble cause and assisting in identifying and facilitating deserving admissions to the institution. Shri Vijay Gupta, Joint Secretary also attended the programme.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks presented by Sr. Rajinder Singh, Member, Managing Committee, who expressed deep appreciation to the school management, teachers, and students for their thoughtful gesture and commendable performance. He remarked that such visits strengthen emotional well-being among the elderly and foster a spirit of compassion and social responsibility among young minds.
The Management of the Home extended its sincere gratitude to Chinar Primary School for organizing this meaningful visit and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting community engagement that enhances the dignity, happiness, and quality of life of its residents.
