MLA Bishnah Dr Rajeev Bhagat starts road macadamisation work worth Rs 74 lakh

BISHNAH, Feb 21: MLA Bishnah, Dr. Rajeev Kumar Bhagat, today started road macadamisation (road strengthening and surfacing) works in the constituency worth ?74 lakh.
The works include macadamisation of a 9-kilometre-long road from Kothi Morh in Deoli to Rathana. In addition, the road from KC Morh to RKS Public School, Bishnah, and the link road connecting the Agriculture Office, Bishnah, have also been taken up under the City and Town Plan. Around ?48 lakh will be spent on the Deoli-Rathana road, while ?25.16 lakh will be spent on the road from KC Morh to RKS Public School and the Agriculture Office link road.
Addressing a large gathering in Deoli, Dr. Rajeev Kumar Bhagat said that his dream is to make Bishnah an ideal constituency where people can easily access basic facilities like education, healthcare, good roads, drinking water, and irrigation facilities for farmers near their homes.
He said that a strong road network is his top priority because good roads help people transport goods from one place to another easily. This will benefit farmers and traders by making it easier for them to sell their products and will strengthen the local economy, especially in border areas.
He assured the public that more development works will be started in the coming time. Among those present on the occasion were Rafiq Ahmed (AEE, R&B), Pankaj Bawaria (AE, R&B), Abhishek Jamwal (Mandal President Bishnah Rural), Arjun Singh (General Secretary), Shivam Sadotra (Additional IT Incharge, BJP Yuva Morcha Jammu & Kashmir), Tinka Panch, Booth President Ashok Kumar, former Sarpanch Yashpal Bambu, Pandit Narayan Dutt Sharma, former Chairman Rajan Sharma, former Councillor Surinder Singh Babbi, Surjeet Neta (General Secretary, Jammu Border BJP), former Sarpanch Surjeet Sonu, retired Sub-Inspector Kasturi Lal, Subhash Chandra, and other senior party leaders and local residents.
