| Valedictory function of the seven day long winter camp held at GDC Khour | | |  Early Times Report
KHOUR, Feb 23: Valedictory function of the seven day long winter camp was organized by the NSS unit of Government Degree College Khour on 23rd Feb 2026. In this occasion Prof. (Dr.) T.K Sharma, the most revered principal of the college was the chief guest. The event was witnessed by senior faculty members, teaching staff and NSS Volunteers of the college. The valedictory function showcased cultural diversity, talent & community spirit among volunteers. The programme featured vibrant performances including group dances, singing presentation and energetic folk performances. The event started with the traditional lightening of ceremonial lamp followed by recitation of NSS song. Volunteers namely Vaishali and Shruti served as the main anchor of the programme. Madhvi, Sanjana & Arti recited inspiring and mesmerizing poems on patriotic theme. Other volunteers namely Swati, Muskan and Vishali gave vibrant dance performance that was wonderful blend of grace and energy. Sakshi and Ankita shared their experiences regarding winter camp. Taniya Sharma & Fiza Bhau shared detailed report of the activities done in seven day special Winter Camp via powerpoint and video presentation. The entire event was organized under the supervision of Prof. Himanshu Khajuria, NSS PO. He extended his sincere gratitude to Prof. (Dr.) Hema Gandotra, NSS Coordinator, University of Jammu, the Principal and deep appreciations to NSS volunteers of the college for their full support in the successful organization of each activity of seven day long winter camp. |
