Early Times Report BHADERWAH, Feb 23: Under the ongoing Kayakalp initiative to promote cleanliness and quality healthcare standards, an External Assessment under the Kayakalp Programme for the financial year 2025-26 was conducted at SDH Bhaderwah, District Doda, on 23-02-2026 by a designated assessment team. The assessment was carried out under the directions of the Mission Director, NHM J&K, and under the guidance of the Director Health Services Jammu. The team was headed by Dr. Arun Sharma (External Assessor) and was joined by Dr. Anil Sharma, BMO Kishtwar, as Internal Assessor. The assessors undertook a comprehensive evaluation of various departments and functional areas of the hospital as per Kayakalp guidelines, focusing on sanitation, hygiene, infection prevention and control, biomedical waste management, and patient care services. Upon their arrival, the visiting team was accorded a warm welcome by BMO Bhaderwah Dr. Versha Sharma along with the staff of SDH Bhaderwah. She formally received the assessors and briefed them about the functioning of the institution and the healthcare services being provided to the local population. The team inspected key service areas, verified records, and interacted with healthcare personnel to assess adherence to prescribed standards under the Kayakalp initiative. The assessment forms part of the ongoing efforts to promote cleanliness, strengthen infection control practices, and ensure continuous quality improvement in public healthcare facilities. |
