The briefing was addressed by Dr. Jyotsna Singh, Director of Amar Mahal Museum and Library, functioning under the Hari Tara Charitable Trust start with the Good wishes to Dr. Karan Singh Ji on his 95th Birthday. During the press interaction, Dr. Jyotsna Singh informed the media about the upcoming 4th edition of the Tawi Festival, which will be held from 13th to 15th March. The festival will feature a range of cultural and artistic activities celebrating the rich heritage of the region. One of the highlights of the festival will be the release of the biography of Karan Singh, titled "A Statesman and a Seeker: The Extraordinary Life and Legacy of Dr. Karan Singh." The festival will also include art camps and workshops at the Amar Mahal Museum and at Kala Kendra, organized in collaboration with students of the Institute of Music and Fine Arts under the guidance of artist-teacher Sihan Billawaria. A vibrant Mela will be organized on 15th March at the Amar Mahal lawns, where local artists will showcase their works and various cultural stalls will be set up, providing a lively platform for art, craft, and cultural exchange. Prominent speakers including Lalit Gupta, Suman Gupta, and Kuldeep Wahi also addressed the media and shared their views on the significance of the Tawi Festival as an important cultural initiative for the region. The organizers invited the public, art lovers, and cultural enthusiasts to participate in the festival and celebrate the artistic traditions of Jammu and Kashmir. |
