JAMMU, Apr 5: JP World School successfully organised its grand "Alchemy Fest - 2026", witnessing enthusiastic participation from more than 700 students, along with parents and members of the local community. The event stood out as a vibrant celebration of talent, creativity, and sportsmanship, and marked Jammu's first-ever Open Day of its kind hosted by a school. A wide array of activities including Cricket, Taekwondo, Speedball, Basketball, Rope Skipping, Creative Writing, E-Gaming, Painting, Judo, Skating, Solo Dance, Calligraphy, Wushu, and Solo Singing kept the atmosphere energetic and engaging throughout the day. The JP Pegasus Baby League for children below 10 years emerged as a major attraction and received an overwhelming response.
The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries. Munish Gupta, Vice President of the J&K Sports Speed Ball Association, attended as the Guest of Honour and lauded the school's efforts in promoting emerging sports like speedball. Mr. Bisham Batra Director Batra Group, founder JP Pegasus football academy graced the occasion as the Elite Guest, appreciating the school's initiative in creating a dynamic platform for students to showcase their diverse talents. The fest was organised under the able guidance of Chairperson Dr. Panna Manhas Choudhary and Principal Aparana Kohli, who emphasised the importance of holistic education and the need to provide students with opportunities beyond academics.
Highlights such as free entry, participation gifts, and a lively Ramp Walk Fashion Fiesta added charm to the celebration, making it a memorable experience for all attendees. Principal Ms. Aparana Kohli expressed pride in the students' performance, stating that such events foster confidence and holistic development among learners. Chairperson Dr. Panna Manhas Choudhary Ji reiterated the school's commitment to nurturing young talent and providing platforms for overall growth.
