| Training module started at Jammu, Kishtwar | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 15: In order to enhance alertness, preparedness and professional competence among Police personnel of the Security Wing, J&K Police deployed on ground duties, in-house short-duration training programs have been conducted at Jammu and Srinagar for over a year to improve capacity building among the subordinate units by the security wing. A training programme started today at DPL Jammu and DPL Kishtwar for the capacity building of the zonal police, simultaneously all districts of Jammu province will be covered in it for the programme which will conclude on 25th of this month. This programme witnessed the participation of Zonal SsP, SDPOs, SHOs and other officers/officials of District Police Jammu and in another program all district officers of Kishtwar. The inaugural session was attended by approximately 350 personnel, reflecting the significance attached to capacity building and skill enhancement. On the occasion, Joginder Singh (JKPS), SSP Jammu during the inaugural address welcomed the participants and highlighted critical aspects of security management. The officer emphasized the pivotal role of District Police and the Security Wing in planning, coordination and execution of security arrangements during major events, PP visits and sensitive functions similarly the Naresh Singh JKPS, SSP Kishtwar gave the inaugural address and spoke about the importance of such training. The Nodal Officer for the training programme, Rakesh Kumar, JKPS, Staff Officer to IGP Security J&K also in his address, outlined the objectives, structure and key components of the training module. He elaborated the importance of such initiatives in strengthening institutional preparedness and expressed gratitude to IGP Security J&K for providing guidance and support in organizing the programme. Nodal officer Shri Khalid Amin JKPS, SSP Security J&K also spoke on aspects of training and importance of such trainings The training module encompasses a range of important topics, specifically designed to protect protected persons, the module also focuses on practical orientation, scenario-based briefings and real-time problem-solving to enhance operational efficiency. This training programme will significantly contribute to improving the overall effectiveness and responsiveness of Police personnel in security related duties. |
