GDC, Ramgarh organizes student interaction session on substance use

RAMGARH, Apr 16: Under the able guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Meeru Abrol, the College Well being and Anti Substance Cell under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) of Government Degree College, Ramgarh organized a Student Interaction Session on Substance Use: Awareness and Prevention on 16th April 2026 within the college premises.
The session aimed at sensitising students about the harmful effects of substance use and encouraging them to adopt a healthy and responsible lifestyle. The programme focused on creating awareness regarding the physical, psychological, and social consequences of substance use, while also promoting preventive measures.
The activity was conducted under the coordination of Dr. Neha Bharti and Dr. Anjana Raina, who highlighted the importance of informed decision-making and self-discipline among students. The interactive session witnessed active participation from students, making it engaging and informative.
Faculty members present on the occasion included Dr. Snobar, Nodal Officer of NCORD Cell, Prof. Sandeep Kumari, Mr. Ashok Kumar, Dr. Shivali Panjgotra, and Ms. Anjali Devi, who extended their support to make the programme a success.
The session concluded with a strong message encouraging students to stay aware, make positive choices, and contribute towards building a substance-free and healthy campus environment.
