JAMMU, Apr 16: Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Dr Rakesh Minhas on Thursday convened a meeting with hoteliers and hospitality industry representatives to review availability of commercial LPG.
The DC attended to the industry concerns and grievances, acknowledging that they constitute a significant part of the local economy. In view of the upcoming wedding season, the DC assured to ensure that mandated/allocated quota of the gas supply is provided to the industry. He assured that strict action would be taken against black marketing and any other irregularity. Assistant Directors from Food Supply & Consumer Affairs, Haroon Naik and Santosh Sharma, besides representatives of Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) were present at the meeting. |
