International Daily Rising School hosts first skills workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Information Technology

JAMMU, May 2: International Daily Rising School successfully organized First Skills Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Information Technology (Code: 402/802) under the esteemed banner of CBSE Academics (Skills Department), New Delhi on 2 May 2026. Over 40 renowned schools from Jammu and 70 participants enthusiastically participated in the workshop. The workshop was designed to strengthen the professional competencies of educators by introducing them to the latest technological advancements and innovative teaching methodologies in the field of Information Technology. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from educators who engaged actively in discussions, practical demonstrations, and collaborative activities.
The workshop focused extensively on emerging areas such as coding, Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, digital literacy, problem-solving techniques, and the effective integration of technology into classroom teaching. The resource persons, Ms. Jatinder Kaur and Ms. Gurdeep Kaur, conducted insightful sessions on enhancing computational thinking, understanding real-world applications of IT, and adopting digital tools to make learning more engaging, interactive, and skill-oriented. Teachers were also introduced to practical strategies for improving students' analytical abilities and preparing them for future career opportunities in the rapidly evolving technology sector.
Interactive activities, case studies, hands-on training sessions, and brainstorming exercises formed a significant part of the workshop, enabling participants to gain practical exposure and deeper understanding of technological concepts. The workshop also emphasized the importance of cyber safety, responsible digital citizenship, and creating a technology-friendly learning environment aligned with the vision of the National Education Policy and CBSE's skill-based education framework.
Supinder Kaur, Chairperson, expressed her pride in hosting such an enriching academic initiative and reiterated the institution's commitment to promoting quality education through innovation and technological advancement. She emphasized that empowering teachers with modern skills directly contributes to shaping future-ready students.
Raghav Gupta, Managing Director, highlighted the significance of integrating technology with education and stated that workshops like these serve as valuable platforms for educators to upgrade their knowledge and adapt to changing educational trends with confidence and competence.
Dr. Atul Hans, Director Academics-cum-Principal, appreciated the initiative and shared that continuous professional development is the backbone of quality education. He emphasized that keeping pace with technological developments enables teachers to make learning more effective, practical, and relevant for students.
