JAMMU, May 5: The cover page of the upcoming book "EDUCATION", authored by Balbir Ram Rattan, was unveiled on Tuesday by Sat Sharma CA, BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP, ahead of book publication, in the presence of BJP General Secretary & former Deputy Mayor Baldev Singh Billawaria and Secretary Arun Sharma.
The book, currently in the final stage of completion, aims to present a thoughtful and comprehensive perspective on the importance of education. The cover page design reflects the idea that education is a continuous journey that empowers individuals to realize their full potential and contribute meaningfully to society. It also symbolizes growth, learning, and the pursuit of knowledge in a changing world.
Sat Sharma CA, on this occasion, said that education plays a vital role in shaping a strong and progressive nation. He said that education helps individuals develop values, discipline, and a sense of duty. He emphasized that education should prepare individuals not just for employment but also for life and responsible citizenship.
He further said that in today's fast-changing world, education must adapt to new challenges and opportunities. He highlighted the need for a system that is inclusive, practical, and capable of reaching every section of society. He added that books like "EDUCATION" can guide policymakers, teachers, and students alike in understanding the real essence of learning.
Sat Sharma also remarked that knowledge should always be used for the betterment of society. He urged the youth to take education seriously and use it as a tool to build a better future. He appreciated the efforts of Balbir Ram Rattan for such a meaningful work and expressed confidence that the book would be widely appreciated.
Balbir Ram Rattan expressed heartfelt gratitude to Sat Sharma CA for unveiling the cover page and for his encouraging words. He said that his book is a humble attempt to explain education as a powerful tool for personal growth, social transformation, and national development. He added that the work draws from his experiences, observations, and deep concern for strengthening the educational framework.
