DODA, May 12: Continuing its intensified drive against drug abuse and illegal cultivation of narcotic substances under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, Doda Police today conducted anti-narcotics operations in different parts of District Doda and destroyed wild cannabis cultivation in the jurisdictions of Police Station Thathri, Police Post Khellani and Police Station Assar.
A police team led by SHO Police Station Thathri carried out a special drive in the Phagsoo and Kahila Jamrayi areas falling within the jurisdiction of PS Thathri. During the operation, wild cultivation of cannabis plants spread over approximately one kanal of land was identified and destroyed/uprooted on the spot. |
