| JKAACL organizes Punjabi Folk Music Programme at NPHS, Atbal, Ramgarh | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 19: Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL), in collaboration with National Public High School, Abtal, Ramgarh (Samba), organized a Punjabi Folk Song and Music Programme at Nationa; Public School, Atbal, Ramgarh, today. Senior writer, columnist on art & culture and renowner artist Jang S. Verman was the chief guest on this occasion whereas S. popinder Singh, Editor Sheeraza Punjabi, JKAACL, and Davinder Singh Bhatti, Principal of NPHS, Atbal were present in the presidium. The staff and students of the school attended the event. Local folk artists of the Samba and R S Pura areas, and the students of the school made the event vibrant and culturally rich by presenting traditional Punjabi folk songs, Bhangra and Giddha. Prominent artists who performed in the programme included singing parties like Subhash & Party, Samba; Rattan Lal & Party, Samba; Suman Lata & Party, R S Pura, who enthralled the audience with soulful folk renditions. The boys of the school presented Bhangra whereas girls presented Giddha in traditional attireG Welcoming the dignitaries and the artists Sh.
