Vacation sessions Judges roster issued for Jammu courts

Jammu, May 19: The Office of the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Jammu, has issued the roster of Vacation Sessions Judges who shall deal with urgent criminal matters in Jammu District during the summer vacations.
As per the order issued by R.N. Watal, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Jammu, the roster has been framed in compliance with the notification of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. The summer vacations shall commence from June 8, 2026, and continue till June 22, 2026, both days inclusive.
According to the order, Sh. Anoop Kumar Sharma, 2nd Additional District and Sessions Judge, Jammu, will remain on duty from June 8 to 9, while Sh. Ranbir Singh Jasrotia, 1st Additional District Judge, Jammu, will handle urgent criminal matters from June 10 to 11.
Sh. Madan Lal, 3rd Additional Sessions Judge, TADA/POTA, Jammu, has been assigned duty from June 12 to 13. Thereafter, Sh. Amarjeet Singh Langeh, Presiding Officer, Fast Track Cases, Jammu, will remain on duty from June 14 to 16.
The roster further provides that Ms. Renu Dogra, Presiding Officer, POCSO Cases, Jammu, will deal with urgent criminal matters on June 17 and June 19, while Sh. Parvez Iqbal, Special Judge NDPS Cases, Jammu, will remain on duty from June 20 to 22.
Copies of the order have been forwarded to the High Court authorities, District Magistrate Jammu, SSP Jammu, Chief Prosecuting Officer, concerned prosecutors, Bar Associations of Jammu, Akhnoor, Bishnah and R.S. Pura, besides the e-Court section for uploading on the District Court website. (JNF)
