| CCTNS team traces 33 missing smartphones | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 25: In a significant achievement, the CCTNS Team of Headquarters Zone Jammu successfully traced 33 missing smartphones valued at approximately ?6 lakhs and handed them over to their rightful owners during a programme organized at District Police Lines (DPL) Jammu under the supervision of SP Headquarters Jammu. The recovered smartphones belonged to complainants from different areas, with some cases dating back nearly four years. Through sustained technical efforts and coordinated follow-up, the CCTNS Team managed to trace and recover the missing devices, bringing relief and satisfaction to the owners. While handing over the recovered smartphones, SP Headquarters Jammu advised the public to follow proper cyber hygiene practices and remain cautious while using mobile phones and digital platforms to avoid loss of valuable data and misuse of personal information. Jammu Police remains committed towards public service and continues its efforts to trace missing property and strengthen cyber awareness among citizens. |
