Ward 68 residents hail MLA Dr Narinder for sanctioning development works worth Rs 12 Cr

JAMMU, June 8: Residents of Ward No. 68 expressed their heartfelt gratitude to MLA R.S. Pura-Jammu South, Dr. Narinder Singh Raina, for securing approval for various development projects worth approximately Rs 12 crore in the area.
A public programme was organized to acknowledge the MLA's efforts and commitment towards strengthening infrastructure and improving civic amenities in the ward.
Speaking on the occasion, local residents appreciated Dr. Raina for taking up key developmental issues and ensuring that long-pending demands of the people were addressed through the sanctioning of major projects. They said the approved works would significantly improve roads, drainage, public utilities, and other essential facilities, benefiting thousands of residents.
They stated that the sanctioned development works fulfill a long-pending demand of the area that had remained unresolved for nearly 70 years. They said successive governments and representatives had failed to address the issue despite repeated requests from the public.The programme was attended by several BJP leaders and prominent citizens. Those present included Naresh Singh Jasrotia, District President, R.S. Pura-Jammu South; Rakesh Sangral, General Secretary, Jammu South; Ajay Partap Singh, President, Kunjwani Mandal; Vikram Charak, General Secretary, Kunjwani Mandal; Reena Slathia, Himja Mehngi, Usha Rajput, Satya Rajput, and Rinku Kumar, Booth President.
Among other distinguished participants were Dr. Subhash Abrol, President, Greater Kailash Welfare Society; Vir Ji Bakshi; and Retired DIG J.L. Sharma, who lauded the developmental initiatives being undertaken in the constituency and appreciated the efforts of the elected representatives in addressing public concerns.The event was organized by Naresh Charak, Convenor, Industry Cell, R.S. Pura-Jammu South, along with Rajkumar, President, SC Morcha, Kunjwani Mandal, and senior BJP leader Nepal Chand. The organizers highlighted the importance of public participation in the development process and reaffirmed their commitment to working closely with the administration and elected representatives for the welfare of the area.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Narinder Singh Raina assured the people that development would continue to remain a top priority and that every effort would be made to ensure timely execution of the sanctioned projects.
He thanked the residents for their support and cooperation and reiterated his commitment to the overall progress and prosperity of Ward No. 68 and the Jammu South constituency.
