| Samba police arrests drug peddler with 3.30 grams heroin like substance | | |

SAMBA, June 8: Intensifying its drive against drug smugglers/peddlers in the ongoing Nasha Mukt Abhiyan, Samba Police has arrested a drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bari Brahmana and recovered approximately 3.30 grams heroin-like substance (Chitta) alongwith one mobile phone from his possession.
A Police team of Police Station Bari Brahmana during patrolling in the area of JDA Colony Bari Brahmana established a Naka and intercepted a pedestrian who was coming from Industrial area and moving towards JDA Colony Bari Brahmana under suspicious circumstances. During frisking, approximately 3.30 grams of heroin-like substance (Chitta) alongwith one mobile phone was recovered from his possession.
The drug peddler identified as Vipin Dubey S/o Joginder Paul R/o Tarore Bari Brahmana district Samba has been arrested and contraband item alongwith mobile phone has also been seized.
A case FIR No.148/2026 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana and investigation started. |
