Early Times Report

Jammu, June 10: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on becoming the country's longest-serving elected Prime Minister, describing his 12-year tenure as a period marked by the resurgence of India's self-respect, cultural renaissance and emergence as a confident global power.
In a message posted on X, Shah extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Prime Minister on the historic milestone, saying Modi's leadership had transformed India across multiple sectors and instilled a renewed sense of national pride among citizens.
Shah said the last 12 years under Modi's leadership had witnessed the construction of a new Parliament building, the implementation of three new criminal laws, the introduction of the National Education Policy, and efforts to expand access to medical and engineering education in Indian languages. He also highlighted the government's push for Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India), which, he said, had become a national mission embraced by people across the country. The Home Minister credited the Prime Minister with strengthening national security, asserting that India's borders had become more secure during the period. He also referred to the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu
“Making the citizens of the country secure and restoring their lost self-respect and pride is Prime Minister Modi’s greatest achievement,”
nd Kashmir, the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, intensified action against Left-wing extremism and the government's firm response to terrorism. According to Shah, one of Modi's biggest achievements has been restoring a sense of self-confidence, dignity and pride among Indians. He said the country had moved beyond a colonial mindset and developed greater confidence in its heritage, culture and capabilities.
“Making the citizens of the country secure and restoring their lost self-respect and pride is Prime Minister Modi's greatest achievement,” Shah said.
He further remarked that under Modi's leadership, India had established new benchmarks in development, self-confidence and global standing, adding that the world was witnessing the rise of a strong, capable and transformed India.
Describing Modi's journey as a symbol of "resolve to success" and "service to good governance," Shah said the Prime Minister's leadership had helped shape a New India that is increasingly asserting its identity and influence on the global stage.
The Prime Minister completed 12 years in office this year, a period during which the BJP-led government has consistently highlighted its achievements in governance, infrastructure development, welfare delivery, national security and economic reforms.
