Samba, June 14: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized 04 vehicles including 03 dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Ghagwal and Samba which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO PS Ghagwal, Incharges Police Posts Mansar, Rakh Amb Talli and Supwal of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas have three dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK08R-8812, JK02DP-6984, JK21K-9245 and a tractor trolley bearing registration No. JK21L-0846 which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area. The above-mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department Samba for further legal action. |
