DODA, June 17: The formal launching ceremony of Nasha Mukt Saptah (Anti-Drug Abuse Week) commenced today at the DC Office Complex Doda under the nationwide Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
The campaign will be observed from 17 June to 26 June 2026, culminating on the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking observed globally on 26 June. It aims to intensify awareness of the harmful consequences of drug abuse and encourage active participation of youth, educational institutions, government departments, civil society organisations and the community at large.
During the campaign period, awareness programmes, outreach activities, seminars, rallies, counselling sessions and community engagement initiatives will be conducted across the district. Among those present were ACR Doda, ACP Doda, CAO, AO DC Office Doda and TSWO, besides district officers and officials from various departments. |
