Early Times Report YOL (HIMACHAL PRADESH), June 19: On the 69th day of the ongoing 78-day Yajna dedicated to the study and practice of the four Vedas at Ved Mandir, Yol, Swami Ram Swarup Ji, Yogacharya, delivered a spiritual discourse based on Atharvaveda, Kanda 4, Sukta 30. He explained that God alone is the supreme ruler and the sole support of the entire universe. Referring to Mantra 3, Swami Ji stated that God Himself imparts divine knowledge, which is embraced and practiced by enlightened sages and seers who possess true understanding of the Vedas. He explained that those who perform rigorous austerities and earn God's grace are blessed with spiritual brilliance. Such individuals are elevated to the status of Brahmanas-knowers of Brahm (the Supreme Reality), enlightened scholars, seers of Vedic mantras, and recipients of noble intellect and wisdom. Swami Ji further explained that every human being lives on God's earth, consumes the food provided by Him, sees through the eyes granted by Him, sustains life through the vital energies bestowed by Him, and hears through the ears gifted by Him. Yet many fail to acknowledge His existence. Even those who do not recognize God continue to exist solely through His support. Deluded by illusion (Maya), they are unable to perceive Him. Only a faithful and sincere person who listens to and follows the teachings of the Vedas can attain true knowledge and realization. Elaborating on the Vedic teachings, Swami Ji said that God is the creator of all worlds and possesses a dynamic, all-pervading presence comparable to the movement of the wind. He emphasized that God transcends both the celestial realms and the earthly world and is infinitely vast. The glory of God visible within the universe is not the limit of His greatness; His infinite magnificence extends far beyond the boundaries of the cosmos. Swami Ram Swarup Ji stressed that the knowledge being imparted through the Vedas reveals the true nature of God. He stated that genuine worship of the Supreme Being can only be performed in accordance with Vedic teachings. Concluding his discourse, he urged everyone to rediscover and embrace the eternal wisdom of the Vedas, calling upon society to return to the Vedic path for spiritual enlightenment and lasting peace. |
