NEW DELHI, June 22: D. Keerthiga, a first-year Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports (BPES) student of Pondicherry University Community College, had the honour of meeting the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor in his chamber.
The meeting was arranged to recognize and congratulate Ms. Keerthiga on her outstanding achievement of winning the Gold Medal at the 1st South Asian Soft Hockey Tournament held in Kathmandu, Nepal. Her remarkable performance at the international level has brought pride and recognition to Pondicherry University.
During the courtesy meeting, the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. P. Prakash Babu conveyed his heartfelt congratulations and appreciated her dedication, hard work, and sporting excellence. He also encouraged her to continue striving for greater achievements and to serve as an inspiration to fellow students.
Prof. Lalitha Ramakrishnan, Principal i/c and Dr. S. Jagadeeswari, Assistant Professor, Head i/c and Sports Coordinator of the Community College accompanied Ms. Keerthiga during the meeting. The University expressed its appreciation for her accomplishment and extended its best wishes for her future sporting endeavors.
