JAMMU, June 24: A one-day awareness camp was organized at the Child Development Project Office (CDPO), Akhnoor, on Wednesday for 60 Anganwadi workers.
The programme was conducted under the supervision of Smt. Tajinder Kour, Dy. SP and In-charge Deputy Controller, Civil Defence, Jammu. During the camp, participants were educated about flood safety measures, rescue procedures during sudden water surges, and basic emergency response techniques.
The session aimed to enhance disaster preparedness and equip Anganwadi workers with essential knowledge to help protect communities during emergencies. |
