Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 24: Former Vice Chairman of the Jammu & Kashmir Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes Development Corporation and BJP spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan said that the Union Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has, during the last twelve years, launched a wide range of welfare and development programmes that have touched the lives of every section and community across the country.
Balbir Ram Rattan was interacting with BJP Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra and other party leaders while discussing the achievements and flagship initiatives of the Narendra Modi Government. He said that the guiding principle of Prime Minister Modi's governance has been "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas," which reflects a firm commitment to inclusive development and social justice.
Highlighting the Modi Government's achievements, Balbir said that welfare schemes such as the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, PM Ujjwala Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, PM Vishwakarma Yojana, Stand-Up India, Mudra Yojana and various pension and insurance schemes have brought meaningful changes in the lives of crores of citizens. These initiatives have particularly benefited the poor, farmers, women, youth, senior citizens, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and economically weaker sections.
Balbir said that one of the biggest achievements of the Modi Government has been the introduction of transparent and technology-driven governance. Through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), financial assistance and welfare benefits are reaching beneficiaries directly, eliminating middlemen and reducing corruption. This has strengthened public confidence in government institutions and ensured timely delivery of services.
He further said that special focus has been laid on empowering women through initiatives related to health, education, financial inclusion and entrepreneurship. Similarly, the youth have been provided enhanced opportunities through skill development programmes, start-up support, employment generation initiatives and self-employment schemes.
Balbir asserted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, India has emerged as a stronger, more self-reliant and globally respected nation. He said that every section of society has received due attention and opportunities for advancement, making development more inclusive and people-centric.
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra said that Prime Minister Modi's growing popularity among the masses is the result of visible improvements in people's lives through welfare and development programmes. He added that the BJP remains committed to reaching every household with information about these schemes so that all eligible beneficiaries can take full advantage of them.
