BANDIPORA, July 1: In a continued effort to strengthen public outreach and ensure responsive governance, the District Administration Bandipora today organised a Mega Block Diwas at Balhama Arin.
The programme was chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC), Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib and brought together senior officers from various government departments, including Revenue, Rural Development, Health, Education, Public Health Engineering, Power Development, Agriculture, and other line departments, providing residents with a common platform to directly interact with the administration.
A large number of people from Balhama and nearby villages participated in the programme and raised issues concerning road connectivity, drinking water supply, electricity, healthcare facilities, education, and other issues pertaining to welfare of the general public.
The Deputy Commissioner gave a patient hearing to every representation and directed the concerned officers to resolve genuine grievances in a time-bound manner. |
