| JKUM president Ishfaq Jabbar visits Ganderbal villages, assures redressal of public grievances | | | Early Times Report GANDERBAL, July 3: JKUM President and former MLA Ganderbal, Ishfaq Jabbar, on Friday visited Gutlibagh, Baba Wayil, Wayil Wadur and several adjoining villages to assess the problems being faced by the residents, particularly the acute shortage of drinking water. During the visit, Jabbar interacted with the local residents and took stock of their grievances. He immediately spoke to the concerned officials of the Jal Shakti Department and urged them to take prompt measures to restore the drinking water supply in the affected areas. As an interim relief measure, he also provided a water pump (motor) to help ease the water crisis. Residents also highlighted the growing threat posed by wild animals. Responding to their concerns, Jabbar spoke with officials of the Wildlife Department and requested them to deploy additional staff in the area to ensure the safety of residents and prevent further incidents. He also took up issues related to the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department with the concerned officials, urging them to address the public's grievances and ensure the timely distribution of essential commodities. Jabbar assured the residents that he would continue to pursue the matter with the concerned departments until their issues are resolved |
