Blsks celebrates 21st foundation day

JAMMU, Aug 8: The 21st Foundation Day of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (Lok Bharti) was celebrated here at the premises the Institute of Bhartiya Lok sangeet Kala Sansthan, Durga Bhawan Janipur Jammu with fun and fare , joined by the senior colleagues of Song and Drama Division, Central Bureau of Communication, Parsar Bharti, AIR, Govt. of India and founder Dr. Mohan Lal Dogra transported audiences to an eventful journey of 21 years of BLSKs, unfolding mind blowing moments through professionally designed audio / visual presentation specially, folk musical plays like Mata Vaishno Devi, Folk Deity of Duggar Pradesh Raja Mandlik & Kalibeer , Mata Sukrala and Doli on Girl Child Marriage and many other plays and folk dances of India. On the occasion, Dogra expressed his heartiest gratitude to everyone who contributed immensely for the growth and development of this brand called ‘LOK BHARTI’. During the celebration Mega Cultural Programe was also organized by the Artistes and students of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan. On Ghar-Ghar Trianga and special performance .i e. National Anthem Jan Gan Man”, the Music was conducted by the Legend Guru Master Kartar Chand, under the overall direction of Dr. Mohan Lal Dogra. The Programme was inaugurated by Dr.V.K.Magotra, Managing Director, along with Dr.Anju Kumari Dogra, Govt. Health Department Jammu Dr.Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director , Health Department J&K Government, & Mr. Mukesh Singh Senior Media Person were graced the function. In last 20 years, through the selfless contribution of thousands of its associates, Lok Bharti has brought the J&K and other folk dances to the National and International limelight and its highly acclaimed Musical Plays and which vibrated the whole length and breadth of the country and carriage and also crossed the boundaries of India as well and won appreciation in Nepal ,Sri Lanka ,Russia, Mauritius , Japan, Thailand, Malaisya and strengthening his mission ,artistes Trained by the Bhartiya Lok sangeet Kala Sansthan. On the occasion. Dr.V.K.Magotra, Managing Director, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan highlighted the contribution of BLSK and Chairman cum Director Dr, M.L. Dogra thanked the artistes, Technicians officials all those who contributed to the making of this historic revolutionary creative journey , more than 5000 mega performances on the various themes, on Govt. Programmes and policies were presented, in coordination with the, CBC, Govt. of India, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, Social welfare, Aids Control Society, Cultural Academy J&K Government, 2000 students confer with Music Vishard (B.Muse / Graduation) of Lucknow Gharana and 3000 computer Diploma, a history for ‘Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan’ and hoped that all admirers and patrons of BLSKS will continue to shower their blessings.
