| DDPS Student Creates National Record in Powerlifting | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 19: Dewan Devi Public School, Jammu is proud to announce that Master Panap Thusoo has brought immense glory to the school and the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir with his outstanding performance at the national level. Master Panap Thusoo secured 1st Position (Gold Medal) in the 120 Kg weight category at the Sub-Junior National Powerlifting Championship held at New Delhi from 8th to 11th September 2026. Competing with a body weight of 113.200 Kg, Panap lifted a massive 167.5 Kg in Deadlift and created a New National Record in his category. The Principal of the school Seloni Suri, Head of School Ashwani Suri ,Administrator Anirudh Suri and the management lauded the hard work and dedication of the young champion and congratulated him, his parents and his coach for this excellent achievement.
