JAMMU, Sept 22: Dharya Kotwal, a talented student of Class VII-D at Delhi Public School Jammu, has brought laurels to the school and Jammu & Kashmir with her outstanding performance at the prestigious 35th All India G. V. Mavlankar Shooting Championship 2026, held in Mohali from September 12 to 21, 2026.
Demonstrating remarkable skill, focus and determination, Dharya won three medals at the championship. She secured a Silver Medal in the Sub-Youth category and two Bronze Medals in the Junior and Senior categories, recording an impressive score of 395.
Her achievement reflects her hard work, discipline, dedication and consistent practice in the sport of shooting. Competing at a prestigious national-level championship across different categories, Dharya has brought pride to her school, her parents, her coaches and the entire sporting community of Jammu & Kashmir.
