| Clean Himalayan & Hill Cities initiative held | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Sept 22: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa today chaired a meeting of District Committee under the Clean Himalayan and Hill Cities Initiative (CHHCI) to review the implementation modal - with focus on the sustainable development of Patnitop.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh; Chief Executive Officer PDA Rakesh Dubey and other concerned officers and Committee members.
A threadbare discussion was held on different aspects of the initiative and its implementation on the ground. The Committee discussed the various components proposed under the CHHCI Action Plan and approved the implementation plan.
The DC directed the concerned officers and departments to ensure timely implementation of the approved plan with proper planning, coordination and in accordance with the applicable rules and guidelines.
He stressed the importance of close coordination among the stakeholders to achieve the objectives of the initiative and promote the sustainable, clean and environmentally responsible development of Patnitop as a premier hill destination. |
