JAMMU, Sept 28: Ek Sath Rang Mandal today presented its 536 Monday Theatre Series at Floriculture Park, near K.C. More, Jammu with new progressive NUKAD "NASHA TAYAGO NEEND SEY JAGO."
This NUKAD is particularly for our young generation who are not awaken and deeply sleeping because of Drug Addiction forgetting the life and rest of world. This slogan is almost commonly used in all Indian languages means "WAKE UP AND Renounce drugs". This is also important slogan used in Anti-drug Campaigns in public rallies and social welfare programmes across the state and our country to combat the crisis of substance abuse.
When we say NEEND SEY JAGO means wake up from deep sleep/ignorance. The complete message serves as a call to action against addiction. Wake up is directed at individuals, families, and society as a whole. It also highlights how addiction blinds people to reality, causing them to neglect their responsibilities, family and futures. It also warns communities to stop ignoring the growing crisis of drug abuse in their neighborhoods. Staying silent or pretending the issue do not exist is equated to being asleep while one's house is in danger.
Tayago means to completely give up and demands absolute abstinence from drugs. Finally, it focuses on shifting from a life controlled by addiction to a life of conscious choices, clean living and positive health.
This NUKAD teaches also: Drug free youth is the true foundation of economic and social growth. Addiction is not a just a personnel struggle but is a community mission.
